Rue-David Military Cemetery lies about a mile South-East of Fleurbaix. It was begun by units of the 7th Division, who occupied the rudimentary trenches here after the First Battle of Ypres. Most of the casualties here were from snipers and other causes not while in any major action, but just holding the position.
