Where did they go after leaving Gallipoli? My scattered info is that my Father arrived in Jndia. Any further info?

So maybe not India, unless after the war?

You could try googling the regiment also and see if there is more information

Simmo thanks for reply. My info is that my Dad arrived in Lahore on 31st December 1916- then to Belgaum on

19th March 1917- then embarked Bombay 9th August - arriving Basra 15th August. A little hazy next but

transferred to BATFORCE 28th January 1919 - next info is that he is in BAKU embarking for UK 30th April 1919.

My query is what were they doing in INDIA?
