This pre-war Division was used to supply garrison troops, filling the places left as Regular units were brought back to England. On or around 30 October 1914 most of the units of the Division were moved to India, whereupon some were sent further on to Burma and Aden. From the time of disembarkation, the Division ceased to function as such. |
